Temporary Registration

If you are staying in the practice area for less than 3 months, you can register with us as a TEMPORARY RESIDENT which allows you to be seen in the practice while you are visiting here but remain a regular patient of your permanent GP. If you are going to be in the area for more than 3 months, you should register as a PERMANENT patient.

To register as a temporary patient, just call in to the practice where you will be asked to complete a temporary resident registration form. You cannot register as a temporary patient at a practice in the town or area where you are already registered.
